Do you fly a lot via business or for personal reasons? If you do, did you know that you can sign up for travel based credit cards that will give you free airline tickets and other perks? I’ll show you how you can get free perks with a travel credit card.

A credit card made for free travel works like any other credit card with rewards. You’ll get x amount of points when you spend x amount of dollars with an airline. Let’s say the airline gives you 6 miles for every dollar you spent. If you spend $400 on your ticket, that’s 2400 miles already! Add in everyday spending and your airline ticket is getting closer and closer.

Every airline program is different. Some will allow you to get a credit card and you can tie it in with your frequent flier miles. This is one of the best ways to go if you’re loyal with an airline company. Not only will you get airline rewards, you’ll also get deep discounts with the airline partners. From car rental companies to hotels, it’s never good to pay full price because there’s always a way around it.

If you don’t have a travel based card in your wallet right now, it’s time to get up and do your research. With hundreds or cards out there, there’s probably a card that will your budget perfect. Who knows? You may be able to find a card that gives you a free airline ticket just for signing up!
